Register for our UK Certified Care Certificate and Manual Handling Course. This is a 4-day Small Classroom interactive training course to assist you in securing a Job as a Care Assistant in an NHS or Hospital Setting, Residential Care Home or Support Worker in supported living or Domiciliary care. You will learn the ethics, Code of Conduct for Social Care Workers, theory and gain Practical skills in fulfilling your role as a nursing assistant. We will ensure that you walk into your interview fully confident and knowledgeable in practice.
The course will cover 17 subjects required to qualify for a care certificate.
This section of the course outlines the dangers and legislation that apply to moving and handling people, as well as showing a range of techniques and equipment that can be used. The course also highlights the importance of proper risk assessments and care plans. We will Work through the practical steps of moving and handling, risk assessment through role play which will be assessed.
